HEARING AID BANK

Hearing aids play an important role in managing hearing loss and thereby improving quality of life. Not everyone who needs hearing aids can afford the full cost of them. The Hearing Association (Auckland) Inc has therefore established a Hearing Aid Bank and welcomes donations of behind the ear hearing aids from people who have no further use of them. 

These donated hearing aids are cleaned and reconditioned and can then be fitted to people on low incomes at a minimal fee. Whether or not they can obtain a hearing aid through the Bank depends on:
if there are any hearing aids in the Bank, and they are eligible in terms of income and circumstances

If you have a hearing aid that is no longer in use, you might like to consider donating it to the Association so that we may help others to hear well. You can contact our friendly staff by:
